Welcome to SFX Soc. *Next Meeting: Tuesday 7th April (Week 24), 7.00pm, DLT1.* This week we have a special treat for you...Rabbit Night! This is especially since we'll be breaking up for the Easter holidays, so we've picked two rabbit themed films to show you - Donnie Darko and the classic Who Framed Roger Rabbit! (We were thinking of going Easter-themed, but feared it may have been a tad too obvious!) Click the titles to see trailers. We are considering having some showings during the exam term, we will keep you posted with more information when we have it. See you all on Tuesday! *Coming soon to a planet near you...* Midnight, April 10th. *Online Payment Working! Not long left to sign up!* The University will probably stop accepting payment soon, so if you haven't signed up yet, please make sure that you do! I know that there's been a lot of confusion over how payment works, so we are providing you with a step-by-step guide on how to join the society! (This means you have no excuse not to...) 1. Go to www.beta.oncampus.net 2. Click student registration. 3. Enter all your details. a. If you want an NUS extra card or to join any of the affiliate sites, do it here or click no thanks. 4. Open your email account and click the validation link a. (If you didn't enter your kent email address you need to do it here) 5. You can now choose to edit your profile, but you don't need to, you can do it later (or not at all!) 6. Go to the drop down 'Groups' tab and click discover groups. 7. Type in SFX or go here and add it to your basket, then pay via your preferred method. Remember to search for 'SFX', not 'Science Fiction' or anything of that ilk. Or if that gives you problems then you can pay by cash by going to the Mandela building (round the corner from the venue) with your £3 and just ask to join the SFX Society. *Links Page* The links page is finally up with something on it.
